I am Anne Endres, a yoga teacher based in Clapham Junction, in South-West London
I teach the yoga I love, which will make you feel refreshed, lighter and happier
Make time and space for yourself
Have you recently found yourself…
Under too much pressure resulting in physical, mental and emotional tension ?
Struggling to rest your mind, constantly overthinking, anticipating, and worrying ?
Unsatisfied with the quality of your sleep ?
Aching when getting out of bed, out of your desk chair ?
A regular yoga practice will help you build…
A new relation to your body, less performance-orientated, more connected to its deeper needs
Greater mobility, flexibility and strength
More headspace, inner calm and a renewed connection to the present moment
“It is indeed true that by practicing yoga we gradually improve our ability to concentrate and to be independent. We improve our health, our relationships, and everything we do.”

"Anne has a wealth of experience...
…and the ability to weave complex concepts into accessible and meaningful lessons. Whether delving into the Bhagavad Gita or exploring the Eight Limbs of Yoga, Anne is able to bring clarity and depth to their teachings, inspiring me to integrate these principles into my day to day life."

"I gave yoga another chance with Anne and I was immediately convinced ! "
"Being a newbie at yoga and more inclined towards 'sportier' activities (cardio, HIIT, etc.), I had not at all been convinced by the introductory sessions I had tried in studios. I have since come to cherish this weekly hour with her and myself, taking care of my body and my mind. After the class, I feel relaxed and rejuvenated both physically and mentally. Anne gives her students her full attention and adapts her teachings to all levels. It's a real pleasure to be guided by her."

About me
My yoga experience
I began my yoga journey 15 years ago in search of recovery from recurring knee injuries and a major surgical procedure. Years of compensating for a weak joint had also led to persistent hip and back pain. I needed to move and exercise again, but many of the sports I once enjoyed were no longer an option.
The benefits of yoga
Yoga not only aided my physical recovery, bringing balance, ease, and strength to my body, but it has also fostered balance, ease, and strength in my mind and heart.
It supported me through the health challenges faced by my children and my own ADHD diagnosis.
Yoga has become my foundation of acceptance, resilience, optimism, and trust in life.
Like many of my fellow yoga teachers, transitioning to teaching yoga marked a meaningful new chapter after my career in social and market research, homemaking, and child-rearing.
In the heart of Clapham Junction
As well as teaching yoga in the heart of the Clapham Junction Community, in the immaculate and beautiful Burridge Gardens Community Centre, I continue to find joy in the company of young children as a part-time French teacher for the Clapham, Between the Commons and Balham French communities.
Yoga, a universal philosophy
Diving into the roots of yoga and its philosophy has brought me back to the times when I frequently travelled to Asia and South-East Asia, where I first developed a deep interest in its cultural and spiritual traditions.
These intimate aspects of yoga are deeply ingrained in me, and I’m always eager to share them when they can enhance, support, or soothe others' experiences.
An ongoing journey of learning and dedication
I still attend Iyengar weekly classes and participate in several teacher-oriented yoga workshops each year. I also dedicate time to reading and research.
What will you find in my yoga classes?
I aim to offer you mindful presence, nurturing care, supportive guidance, and a truly holistic experience.
My heartfelt thanks to Mai Nguyen, Claire Plastow, Alison Boulton, Hana Saotome and Inbal Gatt for inspiring me, guiding me, and illuminating the path.
